About the presenter:
Hi, I’m Christie! I love building relationships with my clients to guide them in adopting a more balanced lifestyle. My main goal is to help people accept themselves where they are at, and make small and sustainable changes over time to meet their goals. I love seeing the relief on a clients face when they realize they do not have to make a 180 degree change overnight, and they most certainly don’t have to do it alone.
I graduated from Clemson University (Go Tigers!), which is where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science with a concentration in Nutrition. I completed my Dietetic Internship to become a Registered Dietitian (RD) through Winthrop University. In addition to being an RD, I am also a Certified Diabetes Educator and have recently become a Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management.
Before working with the Brittany Jones Nutrition Group, I have worked for nearly a decade as a Registered Dietitian in a variety of healthcare settings including acute care, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, diabetes self management, food service, and most recently in corporate wellness. This has been a dream of mine to help companies better serve their employees by encouraging them on their health and wellness journey.
My husband and I live in Greenville,SC along with our daughter Shay, and “fur baby” Barkley. I love reading, dining out at new restaurants in downtown Greenville, and biking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
