Eating Disorder and Disordered Eating Counseling

Our Lead Registered Dietitian Allison Pritchett, RD, LD will provide one on one nutrition counseling and education to help you establish a healthy relationship with food, movement, and your body.

Sessions are focused on creating a consistent eating pattern, tackling “trigger” or “fear” foods, and finding movement that you enjoy doing. We use a whole-person approach, making sure to address sleep and stress patterns in addition to diet and movement.

  • Parent/Caregiver Sessions: We implement a Family Based Therapy approach and these sessions are focused on educating caregivers on the skills and tools needed to support their child with an eating disorder.

“Anna was very knowledgeable, direct with assisting me with the path I needed to take yet compassionate.”

“Allison helped me to recognize these negative patterns in my eating habits. She reframed my thoughts to understand the necessity of eating without guilt and helped me to find pleasure in food again. She was such a constant voice of wisdom and compassion during a time where I was struggling to find that in myself.”

“I could not recommend Allison enough. She is kind, professional and positive while realistic. She communicates suggestions in a way anyone can understand and her focus is more on feeling better about yourself and making choices based on intuitive eating rather than focusing on negatives like diet, calories, etc. “

“I would highly recommend Allison to anyone who needs a knowledgeable RD without judgement. She is super friendly and listened to all of my needs. She also helped guide me in the direction I needed to go in order to live a healthier lifestyle. “

“Allison listened, met me where I was, and helped me grow. Not only did she help me fix my relationship with food, she helped me learn to be okay with my body.”

“Allison’s knowledge of eating disorders has helped me a great deal. I still have a long way to go, but feel I have developed better understanding of how to accomplish what I need to be successful.”

Allison is really understanding and works with you in a way that pushes you, but not too much so that you don’t want to continue treatment.
